Job Description: We're seeking an experienced APD Writer to develop MES Advanced Planning Documents (APDs) and related materials for a Medicaid program. The role focuses on translating complex technical and business information into clear, compliant documentation that supports system certification and CMS submissions. You'll collaborate with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and budget/contract offices, ensuring APDs are accurate, well-structured, and delivered on schedule.
5 Key Responsibilities:
- Develop MES APDs and supporting materials to support planning, implementation, and operations.
- Draft CMS submittal letters and ensure alignment with CMS requirements.
- Coordinate with business units, stakeholders, and project teams; validate APD content for accuracy and completeness.
- Review contract/submittal letters for clarity and relevance; translate updates for leadership and stakeholders.
- Facilitate APD review meetings, stay current with CMS policy updates, and manage documentation to meet federal/state timelines.

- Medicaid Eligibility, NC FAST, and HHS knowledge (5+ years)
- Project management across multiple priorities (5+ years)
