Pay Range: $47.00hr - $52.00hr
Job Overview:
The candidate will serve as a DLP Engineer focusing on Insider Risk Management and Data Protection. The role involves monitoring alerts, managing DLP strategies, and optimizing encryption policies to protect sensitive information.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in reviewing anonymized alerts in the Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management console to help identify patterns like data resignation or data leaks by correlating activity across Teams, SharePoint, and Endpoint.
- Help manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) specifically for Insider Risk Management and Data Protection offerings.
- Optimize auto-labeling policies that automatically encrypt documents containing PII, PHI, or Intellectual Property.
- Use the Content Explorer to investigate what was shared and the Activity Explorer to understand how it was shared.
- Create weekly risk snapshots for leadership, visualizing trends in sensitive data exfiltration attempts.
Technical Qualifications:
- Degree in Cybersecurity, Behavioral Science, Data Analytics, or Information Systems and/or six years of hands on experience.
- Strong ability to use Boolean logic and Regular Expressions (Regex) to define sensitive data types.
- Comfortable navigating the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including understanding how files move from OneDrive to external USB or Personal Cloud storage.
- High level of integrity and discretion while handling highly sensitive information regarding organizational risk and employee behavior.
