Life Science AI Trainers Needed!
We are seeking experienced life sciences researchers to join a 12-week AI training sprint as contract contributors.
This is remote, work on your own time and your own schedule!
We need you to commit to 30 hours a week for 12 weeks.
You will start off at 60.00 an hour and move to 75.00 an hour as the project progresses.
Ultimately you can make 1800 to 3000$ a week over a 12-week sprint.
You can be in the US or Canada to work on these projects
In this role, you will apply your domain expertise to evaluate, annotate, and improve AI-generated responses across the life sciences drug discovery, computational biology, and experimental biology. You will also design and build challenging, realistic tasks that mirror the complex work of your field complete with scenarios, supporting files, and grading rubrics used to evaluate and improve AI systems. Your work directly shapes the accuracy and reliability of AI tools used in scientific research.
This is not a traditional lab or analysis role you will be helping build better AI by putting your knowledge into working in a structured, flexible, fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review and evaluate AI-generated responses to life-sciences prompts for scientific accuracy, clarity, and appropriateness.
- Annotate and rank model outputs to guide AI training and improvement.
Write clear, expert-level answers to scientific questions that serve as model training examples.
- Flag errors, misconceptions, or ambiguous outputs and provide corrective guidance.
- Propose, design, and build realistic tasks drawn from your own research including the scenario and prompt, realistic supporting input files, and a detailed rubric for grading AI performance.
- Run your tasks against AI models and iterate based on expert reviewer feedback.
- Follow detailed written instructions precisely, including document and upload format requirements.
- Maintain consistent quality and throughput throughout the sprint engagement.
Qualifications
- Master s or PhD (or current PhD candidate) in Biology or a directly related field, with
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in drug discovery, computational biology/bioinformatics, or experimental biology.
- Strong written communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, self-directed environment.
