Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Allegro SME with strong expertise in Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM) and deep knowledge of the Natural Gas trading lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Allegro, with particular strength in Settlements, Invoicing, Trade Lifecycle Management, and Energy Trading Operations.

The Allegro SME will work closely with business stakeholders, trading teams, scheduling, risk, settlements, accounting, and IT teams to optimize business processes, support enhancements, resolve production issues, and provide functional expertise throughout the Allegro platform.

A strong background in Allegro Settlements is a key requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Allegro SME and functional expert for the ETRM platform.
• Work closely with Trading, Risk, Scheduling, Settlements, Accounting, and IT
• Lead requirements gathering and translate business requirements into Allegro solutions.
• Provide functional expertise across the Natural Gas trading lifecycle.
• Support and optimize:

  • Pricing & Valuation
  • Market Data & Curves
  • Scheduling & Logistics
  • Nominations & Confirmations
  • Allocations & Imbalances
  • Settlements & Invoicing
  • Risk & Exposure Reporting
• Take ownership of settlement processes, including settlement calculations, invoicing, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Analyze settlement-related issues and provide root-cause analysis and functional solutions.
• Support Allegro implementations, upgrades, migrations, enhancements, and transformation initiatives.
• Gather and document functional requirements, business processes, user stories, BRDs, FRDs, and process flows.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations between Allegro and ERP, market data, exchanges, reporting systems, and downstream applications.
• Lead or support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production deployment.
• Provide production support, issue triage, troubleshooting, and resolution guidance.
• Support reconciliation, controls, data quality, and governance activities across the ETRM platform.
• Work with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and Allegro optimization.
• Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to business and technical teams.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM/CTRM).
• 5+ years of hands-on Allegro experience in an SME, functional consultant, solution lead, or similar capacity.
• Strong understanding of Natural Gas trading operations and lifecycle.
• Strong hands-on experience with Allegro Settlements is mandatory.

• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work Singapore business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Natural Gas trading environments.
• Experience with multiple commodities such as Power, Crude, Refined Products, or NGLs.
• Experience integrating Allegro with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Experience with settlement reconciliation and accounting workflows.
• Experience as an ETRM Platform Owner, Functional Lead, Solution Lead, or SME.
• Experience with cloud-based or modernized Allegro environments.
• Experience supporting global energy trading organizations.
