Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Computer User Support Specialists to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Receive incoming user requests through phone and email, perform initial troubleshooting and issue analysis, and accurately classify service requests and incidents.
- Create, document, categorize, prioritize, and route incidents to appropriate support groups based on established service management procedures.
- Monitor incident progress through resolution, maintain accurate records, follow up with support teams, and communicate status updates to users and relevant stakeholders.
- Support service desk operations across assigned shifts and contribute to service reporting, process adherence, and continuous improvement activities.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
6+ months of experience in service desk, technical support, IT service management, incident management, or a related IT support environment.
|
|
Technical Skills
|
IT service management, service desk operations, incident management, call triage, issue classification, ticket management, technical troubleshooting, user support, incident documentation, service reporting
|
|
Business / Domain Skills
|
- Experience working in an IT service desk environment using ServiceNow for incident creation, assignment, tracking, and status management.
- Experience performing call triage and creating incidents based on user-reported technical issues and established assignment procedures.
- Experience monitoring incidents through resolution and communicating progress to users and relevant support teams.
- Experience creating or supporting service management reports within ServiceNow is preferred.
- Experience working with cloud-based telephony systems is a plus.
