Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst with strong LifePRO platform and insurance domain knowledge to lead requirements discovery, analysis, documentation, and solution delivery for client implementations.
The Lead Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, senior leadership, development, QA, product, support, and project teams throughout the full project lifecycle. This role requires strong communication, requirements management, analytical, and leadership skills, along with hands-on experience supporting LifePRO implementations and insurance products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements elicitation sessions with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business needs, workflows, business rules, and functional requirements.
- Develop and maintain business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and other project documentation.
- Partner with business, product, development, QA, and project teams to translate business requirements into effective solution designs.
- Facilitate discovery workshops, stakeholder meetings, and solution discussions to drive alignment and decision-making.
- Support solution design, implementation planning, testing, validation, and production handoff.
- Assist with test planning, test case development, requirements traceability, and user acceptance testing.
- Analyze requirement changes and assess their impact on scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and effort.
- Identify, analyze, and help resolve business and system issues throughout implementation and post-production support.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for LifePRO business processes, new business, and underwriting workflows.
- Collaborate with technical teams to clarify requirements and ensure solutions meet business expectations.
- Communicate project status, requirements, risks, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior business analysts and promote business analysis best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis processes, documentation standards, and delivery methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting technology implementations or business transformation initiatives.
- Strong experience creating business requirements and functional specifications.
- Experience working on medium to large-scale technology projects.
- Strong understanding of requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, testing, and solution delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead requirements discussions and mentor other analysts.
LifePRO / Insurance Domain Experience
Strong knowledge of LifePRO and insurance business processes is highly preferred.

- Whole Life
- Disability Income
- Universal Life
- Indexed Universal Life (IUL)
- Fixed Indexed Annuities
- Annuity Riders
- Variable Annuities
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience with LifePRO implementations.
- Experience supporting new business and underwriting processes.
- Insurance or financial services industry experience.
- Experience working with cross-functional implementation teams.
- Experience with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced client environment.
