Senior Consultant, Digital Analytics Adobe Customer Journey Analytics Fulltime and Remote
Position Summary
Softcrylic is Seeking a Senior Consultant, Digital Analytics with deep expertise in Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), and enterprise digital measurement strategy. This role is ideal for a hands-on analytics consultant who can translate complex business questions into scalable analytics solutions that connect customer behavior across web, mobile, CRM, product, experimentation, personalization, and business outcome data.
The Senior Consultant will partner with clients to design, implement, and optimize Adobe CJA solutions that enable self-service reporting, journey analysis, attribution, data governance, and executive-level insights. This role requires a blend of technical analytics expertise, consulting skills, business acumen, and the ability to work across marketing, product, analytics, engineering, CRM, experimentation, and data teams.
The ideal candidate has experience helping enterprise organizations move beyond siloed reporting toward governed, event-level, identity-aware analytics foundations that support reliable decision-making, customer journey intelligence, and future AI-powered analytics capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Adobe Customer Journey Analytics & Adobe Experience Platform
- Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of Adobe Customer Journey Analytics solutions.
- Configure and manage CJA Connections, Data Views, dimensions, metrics, calculated metrics, filters, attribution settings, and Workspace projects.
- Partner with client teams to define scalable CJA structures that support acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention, and customer lifecycle analysis.
- Collaborate with AEP, data engineering, and analytics teams to onboard and validate datasets for CJA use cases.
- Support AEP schema design, dataset mapping, identity strategy, and data validation activities.
- Define standardized metrics, segments, taxonomy, naming conventions, and governance practices.
- Document CJA configuration standards, data view creation processes, metric definitions, and enablement materials.
- Identify risks, dependencies, data gaps, and opportunities related to CJA implementation and adoption.
Customer Journey Measurement & Analytics Strategy
- Design measurement frameworks that connect customer interactions across web, mobile, CRM, email, paid media, experimentation, personalization, and product experiences.
- Translate business questions into analytics requirements, data requirements, reporting frameworks, and insight deliverables.
- Develop customer journey, funnel, cohort, segmentation, attribution, and conversion analysis approaches.
- Analyze customer paths across anonymous, authenticated, and account-level experiences.
- Support acquisition analytics, lifecycle analytics, retention analytics, campaign performance measurement, and product engagement analysis.
- Create analytics solutions that help clients evaluate marketing effectiveness, personalization performance, experimentation outcomes, and business impact.
- Build executive-ready insights and recommendations that connect customer behavior to measurable business outcomes.
Data Strategy, Identity & Governance
- Support the design of event-based analytics data models using Adobe Experience Platform and Experience Data Model (XDM).
- Partner with technical teams to define identity resolution approaches across anonymous visitors, authenticated users, customers, accounts, devices, and channels.
- Assess joinability across datasets including clickstream, CRM, campaign metadata, experimentation metadata, personalization metadata, product engagement, and business outcome data.
- Define requirements for campaign, product, offer, pricing, promotion, experimentation, and personalization metadata.
- Support data quality validation, data readiness assessments, and governance processes.
- Help establish consistent metric definitions and semantic layers across reporting, CJA, and downstream analytics use cases.
- Ensure privacy, consent, and data governance considerations are incorporated into analytics design.
Consulting & Client Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on Adobe CJA, digital analytics strategy, data readiness, and measurement transformation.
- Facilitate discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, requirements workshops, and solution design discussions.
- Communicate technical analytics concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Partner with client analytics, marketing, product, CRM, experimentation, engineering, and leadership teams.
- Develop roadmap recommendations, implementation plans, documentation, and enablement materials.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to analytics practice development.
- Support proposals, solution design, estimates, and client presentations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in digital analytics, customer analytics, marketing analytics, or data-driven consulting.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics.
- Strong experience with Adobe Experience Platform and event-based analytics data models.

- Experience translating business questions into analytics requirements and reporting solutions.
- Strong SQL skills and ability to validate data across large datasets.
- Familiarity with customer identity concepts, including anonymous IDs, authenticated IDs, account IDs, and cross-channel identity resolution.
- Strong consulting, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a client-facing environment and manage multiple workstreams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Real-Time CDP, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Target, or Adobe Marketo.
- Experience analyzing personalization, experimentation, campaign performance, product engagement, and lifecycle marketing programs.
- Knowledge of CRM and marketing platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, Eloqua, Braze, or similar tools.
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse, or AWS Redshift.
- Familiarity with data quality monitoring, data lineage, consent management, and privacy requirements.
- Experience building self-service analytics programs for marketing, product, or digital experience teams.
- Experience developing enablement materials, runbooks, training documentation, and governance playbooks.
- Experience with BI or visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Sigma.
- Python or R experience for advanced analytics, data validation, or automation is a plus.
