Title: Cybersecurity Systems Engineer

Location: Merrifield,VA
Employment Type: Contract

Compensation:
Pay Range:$72.00-$76.00 Per Hr

Description
Join our team as a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer in a hybrid role, where you''ll be responsible for maintaining and securing IT infrastructure.
This contract position requires experience in systems engineering and cybersecurity, utilizing technologies such as enterprise security applications and infrastructure management tools.

Key Responsibilities
Support the maintenance and optimization of IT and enterprise security systems.
Troubleshoot server operating systems and enterprise applications.
Deploy and maintain security applications across various platforms.
Ensure system stability through monitoring, patching, and administration.
Document engineering processes and provide status updates.

Qualifications
3 years of experience in a large enterprise environment with a focus on change management.
3 years minimum experience as a System Admin or in a similar role.
Experience in cybersecurity engineering with an understanding of enterprise security practices.
Proficient in Agile methodologies, specifically Kanban workflow.
Strong troubleshooting skills for Linux and Windows operating systems.

Core Technologies
Linux | Windows | SIEM | Scripting (Ansible, Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ruby) | Network and Firewall Management
