Looking for a Java AWS Architect to lead end-to-end design of cloud-native healthcare imaging platforms on AWS, leveraging Java (Quarkus), microservices with strong focus on interoperability, DevOps, and AI-assisted engineering.
Mandatory skills:
· 12+ years overall, 3–5 years in architecture roles
· Own architecture and technical direction for healthcare imaging platforms leveraging AWS, Java (Quarkus), and DICOM/DICOMWeb standards.
· Define end-to-end architecture for cloud-native imaging solutions on AWS
· Design and implement DICOM/DICOMWeb APIs (QIDO, WADO, STOW)
· Lead solutioning for imaging workflows, metadata, and interoperability
· Evaluate and integrate AWS services including AWS Health Imaging
· Drive microservices architecture using Quarkus
· Establish DevOps and engineering best practices
· Leverage AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot / Claude) to improve productivity and code quality.
· Strong experience in AWS architecture (ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, IAM)
· Expertise in Java + Quarkus / Spring Boot
· Deep understanding of DICOM and DICOMWeb APIs
· Experience with microservices and distributed systems
· Hands-on with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
· Experience or exposure to AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.)
· Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
· Agile/Scrum experience
· Focus on quality, performance, and security
Educational Qualifications: -
Engineering Degree – BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
