Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced MDM Architect to design and implement enterprise-wide customer, contact, and company mastering solutions on a modern cloud data platform. Experience with Databricks/Lakehouse architecture is highly preferred.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Master Data Management, Identity Resolution, Entity Matching, Customer 360, Golden Records, Company Hierarchies, Data Governance, and Data Quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Define enterprise MDM architecture, target-state models, and mastering strategy.
- Design Customer, Contact, and Company master domains.
- Develop canonical data models and Golden Record strategies.
- Define matching, merging, survivorship, and stewardship processes.
- Design identity and entity resolution frameworks using deterministic and probabilistic approaches.
- Resolve duplicate customer, company, and contact records across multiple systems.
- Design parent, subsidiary, and ultimate-parent company hierarchies.
- Establish data governance, quality, stewardship, lineage, and certification processes.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to implement MDM capabilities on Databricks.
- Design Delta Lake-based master data structures and mastering workflows.
- Work with large-scale cloud data platforms and data pipelines.
- Evaluate and integrate third-party data enrichment sources.
- Support Customer 360, relationship intelligence, and enterprise data initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture and/or Master Data Management.
- Strong experience with enterprise MDM architecture and implementation.
- Hands-on experience with Customer 360, Customer Master, Contact Master, or Company Master.
- Strong knowledge of Golden Records, Survivorship, Matching/Merging, and Deduplication.
- Experience with Identity Resolution, Entity Resolution, Fuzzy Matching, and Probabilistic Matching.
- Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Stewardship.
- Experience with company hierarchy and relationship modeling.
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
- Experience working with large-scale cloud data platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, Spark, and Unity Catalog.
- Experience building MDM capabilities without relying exclusively on traditional MDM products.
- Experience with Customer 360, Relationship Intelligence, or Enterprise Data Hub initiatives.
- Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365, or similar CRM platforms.
- Experience with third-party enrichment providers such as Dun & Bradstreet or ZoomInfo.
- Experience with graph-based relationship modeling.
