Hiring: IBM Z / Mainframe Modernization Specialists

Jubilant Consulting is hiring experienced Mainframe professionals for multiple specialized IBM Z modernization and migration projects.

6 Roles

We are looking for candidates with hands-on enterprise z/OS experience and proven migration expertise. Generic Mainframe experience without relevant product-level implementation or migration experience will not be sufficient.

1. Scheduling Migration Specialist

Required: 5+ years z/OS, 5+ years IBM Z Workload Scheduler, strong TSO/ISPF and JCL, with hands-on experience migrating CA-7, CA-ESP, Control-M, Jobtrac, Zeke/Zebb or similar schedulers to IBM Z Workload Scheduler.

2. z/OS Automation Migration Specialist

Required: 5+ years Mainframe Operations, hands-on IBM System Automation, NetView and/or CA OPS/MVS, strong REXX, TSO/ISPF, JCL and System Automation PDB knowledge, plus proven z/OS automation migration experience.

3. Mainframe Network Administrator

Required: 8+ years hands-on Mainframe Networking with strong SNA, TCP/IP, VTAM, NCP and Communications Server, expert CA-TPX / CL/SuperSession administration and session routing, plus proven session-management/network migration and cutover experience.

4. Db2 Tools Migration Specialist

Required: Strong Db2 for z/OS Systems Programming/DBA experience in Parallel Sysplex, IBM Db2 Tools administration, and hands-on migration from Broadcom/CA Db2 Tools to IBM Db2 Tools, including conversion of JCL, PROCs and Control Cards.

5. Mainframe DevOps / SCM Migration Specialist

Required: 8+ years Mainframe/z/OS experience with hands-on Endevor → Git/IBM DBB migration, strong Git, DBB, IDD/Wazi, Groovy/YAML and CI/CD expertise, including pipeline, build, dependency and conversion troubleshooting.

6. IMS Tools Migration Specialist

Required: Strong IMS Systems Programming/DBA experience in Parallel Sysplex, IBM IMS Tools, and IMS database internals including DBDGEN, PSBGEN, ACBGEN, HALDB and DEDB, with proven BMC/Broadcom/third-party IMS Tools → IBM IMS Tools migration experience.

Common Expectations

• Strong z/OS/Mainframe technical background

• Hands-on implementation, migration, configuration and troubleshooting experience

• Ability to lead or execute migration activities end-to-end

• Strong problem determination and analytical skills

• Experience with production environments and enterprise-scale systems

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Ability to work with clients, vendors, architects and internal technical teams

• Strong documentation, knowledge-transfer and technical training capabilities
