Position Summary
The Mendix Platform Architect & Senior Developer is responsible for the architecture, design, development, integration, deployment, and support of enterprise Mendix applications. This role serves as the technical lead for the Mendix platform, providing architectural guidance while also actively participating in hands-on development, troubleshooting, upgrades, and production support activities.
The individual will collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Enterprise Architects, Infrastructure Teams, Security, Quality, and Business Stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, compliant, and high-performing digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Define and maintain the overall Mendix platform architecture and roadmap.
- Lead solution architecture reviews and technical design decisions.
- Establish development standards, coding guidelines, and reusable design patterns.
- Review application designs for scalability, reliability, maintainability, and performance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
- Support technology evaluations and platform modernization initiatives.
Application Development
- Design, develop, and maintain Mendix applications using best practices.
