About the Job- We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Consultant / Fabric Data Engineer to join one of our enterprise client engagements. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Medallion Architecture, Power BI, DAX, Power Query, Azure Data Factory along with experience working in fast-paced enterprise environments.
Job Description:
- We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Consultant with strong expertise in data engineering, analytics, and cloud data platforms.
- The consultant will design, develop, and implement scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, One Lake, Fabric Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Spark, SQL, and Power BI.
- The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience building end-to-end data pipelines, transforming large datasets, developing data models, and integrating multiple enterprise data sources within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
- Microsoft Fabric provides integrated capabilities across Data Engineering, Data Factory, Data Warehouse, Data Science, Real-Time Intelligence, and Power BI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end Microsoft Fabric data solutions.
- Develop scalable data pipelines using Fabric Data Factory, Pipelines, and Dataflows Gen2.
- Build and maintain Fabric Lake houses and One Lake data solutions.
- Develop data transformation and processing solutions using Apache Spark, PySpark, Python, and SQL.
- Design Medallion Architecture including Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
- Develop and optimize Fabric Data Warehouse and SQL-based solutions.
- Build and maintain enterprise data models and semantic models.
- Integrate data from cloud, on-premises, APIs, databases, and other enterprise sources.
- Implement incremental loads, CDC, data validation, and data quality frameworks.
- Develop and optimize Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform performance tuning of pipelines, Spark workloads, SQL queries, and Power BI models.
- Implement security, governance, workspace management, and access controls.
- Support migration of existing Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Power BI workloads to Microsoft Fabric.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support.
- Establish best practices around deployment, monitoring, CI/CD, and Fabric environment management.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Cloud Data Platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT and data integration.
- Experience with Medallion Architecture and Delta tables.
- Strong experience in data modeling and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and Semantic Models.
- Experience integrating multiple data sources and APIs.
- Strong understanding of Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Databricks.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
