Role: NCR POS Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Location: Remote

Duration: Long Term Contract

Role Summary

Required Skills & Experience

8–12+ years in Retail POS/Payments support, with hands-on NCR Retalix R10 / Radiant / CX7 / 770x POS platform experience
Experience with fuel & forecourt systems — Site Controller, fuel dispensers, Price Advantage/Price Book integration
Working knowledge of Punchh or similar loyalty/rewards platforms and their POS integration points
Strong log analysis skills (POS, FUEL PC, Windows Event Viewer) for advanced troubleshooting
ITIL-based incident & problem management experience; comfortable owning a problem backlog end-to-end
Scripting/automation exposure (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or RPA) to build L0/L1 self-heal solutions
Experience working with POS/payment vendors (NCR, Verifone) to drive permanent fixes via JIRA/ServiceNow
Excellent stakeholder communication — able to work directly with client SHD/L2 leads and internal ISG/IOA teams

Preferred Qualifications

Prior exposure to POS platform migrations (e.g., NCR to GK/other next-gen POS)
Familiarity with PDI Enterprise Retail Suite or similar convenience/fuel retail back-office systems
