We are seeking an experienced Property & Casualty Forms and Filings Specialist to manage the development, maintenance, regulatory filing, and implementation of insurance policy forms, endorsements, rates, rules, and related documentation for Commercial and/or Personal Lines products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of state insurance regulations, ISO and proprietary forms, SERFF filings, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with Product Management, Legal, Compliance, Actuarial, Underwriting, Operations, and IT teams to ensure timely and accurate product implementations.
Essential Responsibilities
Develop, revise, and maintain Property & Casualty policy forms, endorsements, applications, notices, and related insurance documents. Prepare, submit, monitor, and manage state regulatory filings through SERFF. Coordinate all aspects of product filings, including rates, rules, forms, manuals, and underwriting guidelines. Research and interpret state insurance laws, regulations, and Department of Insurance requirements. Ensure all policy forms and filings comply with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards. Partner with Product Management on new product launches and enhancements. Work with Legal and Compliance to resolve filing objections and inquiries. Coordinate implementation with Operations, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, and IT. Develop implementation requirements, maintain filing documentation and version control, monitor regulatory changes, support audits and examinations, participate in cross-functional initiatives, and recommend process improvements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience with at least five years of Property & Casualty insurance experience and three years of direct forms development and regulatory filing experience. Strong working knowledge of SERFF, Commercial and/or Personal Lines products, state filing requirements, ISO and proprietary forms, and Microsoft Office. Excellent analytical, organizational, written, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional designations such as CPCU, AINS, API, or AIS are preferred, along with experience in Product Management or Product Development, policy administration systems, Agile or Waterfall implementations, and multi-state regulatory filings.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of SERFF, ISO Forms and Circulars, Property & Casualty products, state DOI regulations, forms development, rate and rule filings, product development, regulatory compliance, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and requirements documentation.
