Job Description
DataFactZ is looking for strong Full-Stack Developers with 7–10 years of experience building scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications. We are looking for engineers with solid software development fundamentals who understand application architecture, coding best practices, and problem-solving beyond specific programming languages or frameworks. The ideal candidate should be comfortable writing code, reviewing others' work, and critically evaluating AI-generated code rather than blindly relying on AI tools.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Strong foundation in software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, data structures, design patterns, and application development best practices.
- Hands-on experience in full-stack application development, including frontend, backend, APIs, and database integration.
- Must have experience with React and FastAPI for developing modern web applications and RESTful APIs.
- Strong proficiency in Python; experience with Django is a plus.
- Ability to write clean, modular, maintainable, and well-tested code, following established coding standards and best practices.
- Strong code review and debugging skills, including identifying logical errors, performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to effectively leverage AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) while independently validating, debugging, and improving AI-generated code.
- Strong understanding of application architecture, database design, SQL, API integrations, Git, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, CI/CD, and cloud application deployment (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, ownership, and communication skills. Must be comfortable working independently and collaborating with technical teams.
