Senior AI Engineer - W2 Requirement

Job Title: Senior AI Engineer (Java or Python development background)

Location: Remote

Duration: 12-month contract

Work Authorization: Any

Interview: 2 rounds; Offer

Experience: 10+

Notes:

AI role - Core AI expert
Onboard deals onto the blockchain - rethinking the whole process- extracting terms in credit agreements and turn into executable code. Looking for deep AI expertise with LLMs, running pipelines against them, orchestrating workflows, deep expertise doing specifically this.
Onboard thousands of credit agreements and translate those into code for the block chain
Deep AI expertise - not using a coding agent - building agents, running pipelines against the LLMs with high accuracy
Needs to use AI in their workflow. Must hit the ground running, they need someone with deep expertise that can train BNY
Must be a seasoned engineer (10-15+ years) who is deep in the AI space, who has proven experience integrating into LLMs directly (not via Codex/Claude, etc)
Internal API is Python, but rest of platform is Java. Prefers probably Python expertise for this role than Java
They have existing LLMs, it's the AI solutions integrated into the LLMs that need the work
Should have MCP - be able to interact with existing LLMs with prompts, orchestrations, governance. LLM comes back with questions that are non-deterministic
Plus if they have industry experience, but really wants the strong AI/LLM integration experience
Java, Angular full stack (lean more back end) - Core Senior Full stack engineer
Lots of work to integrate into the LLMs to generate artifacts
Needs to add value quickly, not looking to train up
Using Codex and Claude for AI development now
Interview on teams and if they are already in Dallas, can do F2F (will do virtual for relocation candidates)
2-3 people interview
