Position : Senior Data Engineer (Coder)
Location : 100% REMOTE
Duration: 1+ year duration.
Must Have: Python, Pyspark, Synapse, Power Platform, Fabric.
Nice to have: D365, Project or Finance operations. 12+ years. Someone like “GM” attached, but needs Python and Pyspark in addition to the skills he has.
A data-centric Senior Data Warehousing/ETL Consultant specializes in designing and implementing data warehousing solutions, focusing on data integration and transformation processes. They typically have strong expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics, particularly in migrating data to Synapse environments, ensuring efficient data management and analytics capabilities
We need someone for the senior level has extensive Synapse experience.
Specifically what client need (the data side) and primarily these are Required:
- Synapse (migrating to Synapse)
- Integrations for Financial Systems
- D365 Power Platform PowerAutomate
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure API / APIM
- ETL and Data Warehousing
- Data focus / data centric
- Mapping docs.
- Data migration, data management
- Azure, Azure pipes
- Commercial sector clients (not government)
- MS Purview and Dynamics 2013 On-Prem is nice to have but not required
D365 is not necessarily required. But we do a good deal with the power platform. So any experience would be a plus only on D365.
Project description: We have been Migrating a ton of data so far (migrating data into the enterprise). Now comes report writing. Cleanse and organize data in this environment so they can generate reports. Manipulate the data.
Generic Job description
- Proven experience as an Integration Specialist or similar role
- Data integration tools and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process
- Understanding of M365 / D365 services and integration w/ Power Platform
- Experience with migrating and/or integrating with On-Prem services to cloud and Azure
- Understanding of programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, SQL)
- Familiarity with API management and cloud solutions
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving system integration issues
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
