- Improve site speed and reliability so every visit is fast and every checkout works
- Decide where to invest in architecture and where to ship a simpler solution
- Collaborate with Marketing, Design, Product, and Operations on launches, campaigns, and experiments
- Write maintainable, high-quality code with strong test coverage
- Mentor other engineers through code reviews and design discussions
Requirements- Strong experience building and operating production React and TypeScript applications with server-side rendering
- Solid hands-on experience with React Router v7, including routes, loaders, actions, and server-rendered application patterns
- Full-stack experience: comfortable in both the browser and the server, integrating APIs, and debugging across the request lifecycle
- A track record of improving performance and reliability for a customer-facing site
- Good judgment about when to invest in architecture and when to deliver a simpler solution
- Clear communication and collaboration skills across engineering and non-engineering teams
