Introduction:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Snowflake Architect to join our team, focusing on platform and administration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Snowflake architecture and administration, as well as a strong background in performance and cost optimization. They will play a key role in optimizing our data platform and ensuring its efficient operation.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement Snowflake architecture solutions
Optimize performance and cost of Snowflake platform
Utilize advanced SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis
Implement ELT/ETL processes and dimensional modeling
Manage Snowflake data sharing and access control
Implement RBAC, masking, row access policies, and Horizon for data security
Utilize Cortex AI and data agents for advanced analytics
Work with AWS/Azure cloud platforms
Utilize Terraform/Bash, CI/CD, and GitHub for automation and version control
Implement replication, disaster recovery/failover, and data governance strategies
Preferred certification: SnowPro Core

Requirements:

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience with Snowflake
Extensive experience in Snowflake architecture and administration
Strong proficiency in advanced SQL and Python
Experience with ELT/ETL processes and dimensional modeling
Knowledge of Snowflake data sharing and access control
Experience with RBAC, masking, row access policies, and Horizon
Experience with Cortex AI and data agents
Experience with AWS/Azure cloud platforms
Experience with Terraform/Bash, CI/CD, and GitHub
Experience with replication, disaster recovery/failover, and data governance

Preferred Skills:

Certification: SnowPro Core
