Job description
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Staff PSIRT (Product Security Incident Response Team) Engineer to join our client's Product Security team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product security, vulnerability research, secure software development, and incident response.
Required Skills
12+ years of overall IT experience
Strong expertise in reverse engineering, debugging, and secure software development practices
Proven ability to reproduce, analyze, and assess the exploitability of complex vulnerabilities in large-scale systems
Deep understanding of CVSS, CVE, CWE, and public vulnerability databases
Experience with product security, application security, vulnerability management, or vulnerability research
Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell
Experience developing internal security tools and automating vulnerability triage workflows
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Responsibilities
Investigate, reproduce, and assess reported product vulnerabilities
Perform exploitability analysis and provide remediation recommendations
Collaborate with engineering teams to drive timely vulnerability resolution
Develop automation tools to improve vulnerability triage and incident response processes
Monitor public vulnerability databases and security advisories
Support Product Security Incident Response (PSIRT) activities throughout the vulnerability lifecycle
Promote secure software development best practices across engineering teams
