Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Teamcenter PLM Functional Architect to join our team and provide functional and architectural leadership for enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Siemens Teamcenter, PLM business processes, solution architecture, implementation, and integration. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, technical architects, and engineering organizations to design and implement scalable Teamcenter solutions aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the functional architecture and solution design for Teamcenter PLM implementations and enhancements.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Teamcenter functional solutions.
Define and optimize PLM processes across areas such as:
Product Data Management (PDM)
BOM Management
Change Management
Configuration Management
Document Management
Classification
Workflow Management
Requirements / Product Lifecycle Management
Provide expertise on Teamcenter architecture, modules, configurations, workflows, and business processes.
Work with business stakeholders to understand current-state processes and define future-state PLM solutions.
Lead functional workshops, requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design sessions.
Support Teamcenter implementation, configuration, migration, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
Collaborate with technical teams on Teamcenter integrations with ERP, MES, CAD, and other enterprise applications.
Review solution designs and ensure adherence to PLM architecture and implementation best practices.
Identify opportunities to improve PLM processes, data models, workflows, and overall Teamcenter adoption.
Provide technical/functional guidance and mentorship to Teamcenter consultants and development teams.
Support estimation, planning, architecture documentation, and project delivery activities.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience working with PLM solutions, with strong experience in Siemens Teamcenter.
Strong understanding of Teamcenter architecture and enterprise PLM implementations.
Proven experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into Teamcenter solutions.
Strong knowledge of core PLM/PDM processes including BOM, Change Management, Configuration Management, Workflows, and Product Data Management.
Experience working with engineering, manufacturing, product development, or supply-chain organizations.
Experience participating in or leading Teamcenter implementation and transformation projects.
Strong understanding of PLM integrations with enterprise systems such as SAP/ERP, MES, CAD, and other applications.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work with both business and technical teams.
