Position Overview |
We are seeking a part-time Training Content Developer to support an enterprise SAP S/4HANA upgrade program. This role will focus on the hands-on development, refinement, and maintenance of training and enablement materials supporting UAT and end-user readiness. |
The Training Content Developer will translate source materials, system and process information, SME input, and existing content into clear, polished, user-ready training materials. This role requires strong content-development skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently as information and training needs evolve throughout the program. |
Key Responsibilities |
Develop and update training and enablement materials supporting the SAP S/4HANA upgrade. |
Create materials supporting UAT preparation and subsequent end-user training. |
Translate system, process, and SME inputs into clear, user-friendly training content. |
Develop and refine PowerPoint presentations, Word-based materials, job aids, quick reference guides, and other user-facing training materials as needed. |
Organize and consolidate existing content and source materials into cohesive learning deliverables. |
Incorporate feedback from SMEs, project team members, and users as materials progress. |
Update training content as system functionality and business processes are validated through UAT. |
Refine end-user materials following UAT as the program progresses toward deployment. |
Leverage Microsoft Copilot and other approved AI-enabled capabilities, where appropriate, to accelerate content development and improve efficiency. |
Maintain and work with content housed within Microsoft SharePoint and the broader Microsoft 365 environment. |
Manage multiple content-development priorities and adjust quickly as program needs evolve. |
Required Qualifications |
Demonstrated experience developing training, learning, or user enablement content in a corporate or project environment. |
Strong hands-on content development skills, including the ability to translate source information into polished, user-friendly materials. |
Strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word. |
Experience working within Microsoft 365. |
Strong written communication and content-design skills. |
Strong attention to detail and ability to organize complex information into clear, consumable content. |
Ability to work efficiently and independently within a fast-paced project environment. |
Ability to adapt as requirements, source information, and training needs evolve. |
Preferred Qualifications |
Experience using Microsoft Copilot or similar AI-enabled tools to support content development. |
SharePoint experience. |
Experience supporting an ERP implementation, upgrade, or other large-scale technology initiative. |
SAP or SAP S/4HANA experience preferred. |
Experience developing content for UAT participants and/or enterprise end-user training. |
Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience in training content development, instructional content, learning and development, or a related field. |
