Review work of other developers
This is advanced technical services work involving the architecture, design, development, and management of highly complex computer systems. Responsibilities include the design and oversight of the technical aspects of large-scale, complex system(s), and the design and oversight of the integration of multiple applications for an agency (or agencies). Key focuses are on the data and integration points of these applications. Work includes developing the systems vision for these application(s) and guiding technical teams toward that vision, ensuring the architecture is in alignment with the agency's application needs, and ensuring the vision is in alignment with those guidelines set forth by the Office of Information Technology. Employees in this classification are competent to work at the highest technical level in all phases of programming activities for large-scale, complex application systems; and serve as technical mentors to other lead developers. The most important aspect of this classification is the responsibility for the architectural design, data, and integration of the State's most complex, strategic, and critical applications. Limited supervision may be exercised over other data processing staff. Work is performed under limited supervision.
