Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for web and API applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, API automation, SQL, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and API applications.
Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Perform API automation using REST Assured and Postman.
Validate application data using SQL queries and database testing techniques.
Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA.
Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to ensure quality deliverables.
Prepare test plans, execution reports, and quality metrics.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Continuously improve automation frameworks, test coverage, and testing processes.
Required Qualifications:
Strong programming experience with Java.
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
Experience with TestNG and/or JUnit.
API automation using REST Assured or Postman.
Strong SQL knowledge for database validation.
Experience with Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS or Azure cloud testing.
Performance testing using JMeter.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of BDD using Cucumber.
Experience testing cloud-native applications.
