Job DescriptionField Service Engineer 2 At Dell Technologies, we take pride in providing our customers with a quality of service that more than matches the quality of our products. Our Field Service team is integral to making sure the service to our customers is seamless, responsive, and focused. Taking our technical skills to customer sites, we're responsible for everything from installation, configuration, and integration, through to maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. Customers see us as a trusted liaison who can understand their precise needs on a host of admin and technical matters. We also work closely with our designers, solution managers, and sales specialists to provide solutions.
What you'll achieve: As a Field Service Engineer, you will support installations, maintenance, and data collection that accelerate issue resolution. You'll perform QC checks to ensure work meets standards for accuracy and repeatability. You will collaborate with customers and product teams to resolve inputs and keep schedules on track.

ResponsibilitiesYou will: - Create and run tests under guidance; prepare setups and instrumentation.
- Assist with template updates and maintenance of case repositories.
- Run QC on logs (units, references, metadata) and package results for reviews.
- Track tasks, versions, and approvals in workflow tools.

Essential Requirements - 2+ years of related experience in a professional role or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with tools and diagnostics; accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Organized and detail-oriented; follow SOPs and safety standards.
- Ability to translate inputs into clear results and iterate quickly on feedback.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills across teams.
Desirable Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or related field.
- Exposure to ITIL practices or OEM product training.
CompensationDell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $74,000 - $96,000.
