Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Lead Consultant specializing in SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM) to lead transportation management implementations, integrations, and process improvements.
The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in SAP TM, SAP Logistics Business Network (LBN), carrier collaboration, freight settlement, and integration with core SAP S/4HANA modules.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM) implementations, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Design and implement SAP TM solutions to optimize transportation planning, execution, freight settlement, and logistics operations.
Implement and support SAP Logistics Business Network (LBN) capabilities, including carrier collaboration and transportation visibility.
Manage carrier collaboration processes, carrier invoice processing, freight charge calculation, and freight settlement.
Ensure seamless integration between SAP TM and SAP S/4HANA core modules, including Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Finance (FI).
Work with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) teams to support integrated warehouse and transportation processes.
Lead client discussions, conduct workshops, gather business requirements, and translate business needs into effective SAP TM solutions.
Required skills
8–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Transportation Management (TM).
15+ years of overall relevant SAP experience.
Proven experience in 3–5 full-cycle SAP TM implementation projects, preferably using SAP S/4HANA TM.
Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management configuration and business processes.
Hands-on experience with SAP Logistics Business Network (LBN).
Strong knowledge of carrier collaboration, carrier invoice processing, freight charge management, and freight settlement.
Extensive experience integrating SAP TM with SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Finance (FI).
Experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) integration is preferred.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, client-handling, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead functional discussions and manage project deliverables independently.
