Technical/Functional Skills
10+ years of relevant SAP experience, including at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation.
Hands-on SAP PEO configuration experience covering BOM handling, EBOM-to-MBOM handover using Visual Enterprise Manufacturing Planner (VEMP), shop floor routings, production models, and production versions.
Strong knowledge of discrete manufacturing for complex assemblies, manufacturing master data, digital thread concepts, and PLM integration.
Experience integrating engineering systems such as PLM and PDM with SAP S/4HANA.
Working knowledge of SAP Production Planning (PP), Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), and Quality Management (QM).
Experience with Engineering Change Management, change records, and Change Impact Analysis.
Familiarity with SAP MII, SAP ME, SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud, Teamcenter, or Windchill is preferred.
Experience in aerospace, automotive, high-tech manufacturing, medical devices, or another regulated manufacturing industry is preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead SAP S/4HANA PEO implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization activities.
Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Design solutions for complex discrete manufacturing processes, including engineering handover, EBOM-to-MBOM conversion, shop floor routings, production models, work instructions, and production execution.
Configure and support Engineering Change Management, change records, and Change Impact Analysis.
Ensure seamless integration of PEO with SAP PP, PP/DS, QM, PLM/PDM platforms, MES, and shop floor systems.
Serve as the subject matter expert for SAP S/4HANA PEO engineering and manufacturing execution capabilities.
Manage assigned project timelines, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and resources to support successful completion.
Develop functional specifications, configuration documentation, test scenarios, and deployment artifacts.
Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, troubleshooting, and production support.
Deliver Train-the-Trainer sessions and knowledge transfer for business and support teams.
Promote compliance with industry standards, implementation best practices, and solution governance.
Travel domestically and internationally at least 30%, based on project needs.
