Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university and Ten (10) years of progressive software engineering experience focused on Java/J2EE enterprise application development.
OR
- High School Diploma/GED and Fourteen (14) years of progressive software engineering experience focused on Java/J2EE enterprise application development.
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- Expert-level experience designing, developing, and supporting large-scale, mission-critical, cloud-native enterprise applications.
- Deep expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices Architecture, RESTful APIs, and Event-Driven Systems.
- Proven experience architecting and delivering high-volume, highly available, distributed systems in public cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI solutions, including. Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents and orchestration frameworks.
- Experience building and integrating AI-powered enterprise platforms and intelligent automation solutions.
- Experience with multi-cloud architectures and deployments across. AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Advanced experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- Expertise with AWS services including. S3, RDS PostgreSQL, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, IAM, SNS/SQS
- Strong experience designing and implementing solutions using both SQL and NoSQL databases, including performance tuning, scalability, resiliency, and data architecture patterns.
- Expertise with PostgreSQL, Cassandra, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch in large-scale distributed environments.
- Experience designing and supporting highly available, horizontally scalable data platforms leveraging Cassandra and other distributed database technologies.
- Expertise with asynchronous processing, event streaming, and messaging platforms, including Apache Kafka.
- Experience implementing modern DevOps and CI/CD practices using.Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Ansible, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Proven experience leading architecture reviews, defining technical roadmaps, and driving engineering excellence across multiple teams
