OverviewWe are seeking an organized and proactive IT Vendor & Applications Analyst to support a large-scale enterprise initiative involving application lifecycle management, software portfolio optimization, and vendor coordination.
This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, procurement, finance, and other cross-functional groups to help manage application-related projects, track key milestones, drive accountability, and ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical teams, and is comfortable following up on action items to keep projects moving forward.
Responsibilities- Coordinate application-related projects and technology initiatives across multiple business units
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party software vendors
- Gather, document, and track business and technical requirements
- Maintain project plans, status reports, risk logs, and action item trackers
- Support software vendor management activities, including renewals, licensing reviews, contract administration, and service agreements
- Review vendor proposals, statements of work, pricing models, and licensing options
- Track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and escalation items
- Assist with application onboarding, migration, enhancement, and retirement efforts
- Coordinate with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Technology teams throughout project lifecycles
- Analyze data and create reports using Microsoft Excel and other business tools
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and operational efficiency
- Prepare project updates and executive-level status communications
Requirements Required Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Business Analysis
- IT Project Coordination
- IT Vendor Management
- Applications Support
- Business Systems Analysis
- Technology Operations
- Experience working with software vendors, service providers, or technology partners
- Strong organizational and project tracking skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting application rationalization or decommissioning projects
- Experience working with SaaS applications and enterprise software environments
- Exposure to software licensing, renewals, or contract management
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or business transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with ERP systems or enterprise business applications
- Background in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or regulated environments
