Capgemini Government Solutions is seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Lead Developer to provide expert solution development, maintenance, and modernization services within a fully staffed, cross-functional Agile Scrum team. This role will lead the technical delivery, configuration, and custom development of a diverse portfolio of applications, ensuring code quality, security compliance, and operational excellence across multiple business-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Oracle APEX application design, development, and modernization efforts.
- Mentor developers and provide technical guidance across the team.
- Ensure sprint commitments and project deliverables are met.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce secure coding standards.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps best practices.
- Oversee application documentation and operational procedures.
- Provide Tier 2/3 production support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
- Collaborate with business, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Eligible to acquire and maintain Government Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of software development and technical leadership experience.
- Strong expertise with Oracle APEX and Oracle Database 12c+.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and SDLC processes.
- Strong SQL/PLSQL, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proven leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure Cloud experience.
- Familiarity with IBM InfoSphere.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps, and application modernization.
- Government contracting or regulated industry experience preferred.
