Imaging Service Engineer
Location: Eastern Iowa
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 + Benefits
Equipment Supported: X-Ray Systems & Mammography
The Opportunity
An established and growing medical imaging service provider is seeking an experienced Imaging Service Engineer to support healthcare facilities throughout Eastern Iowa.
This field-based role focuses on the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of X-Ray and Mammography systems. You'll work directly with hospitals, imaging centers, and healthcare providers to ensure critical imaging equipment operates reliably and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, service, maintain, and repair X-Ray and Mammography systems
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, calibrations, and system upgrades
Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults to minimize equipment downtime
Maintain accurate service documentation and compliance records
Build strong relationships with customers and clinical staff
Collaborate with internal technical teams to resolve complex issues and improve service delivery
Requirements:
1+ years of experience servicing medical imaging equipment
Strong experience with X-Ray and/or Mammography systems
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the territory
