Job DescriptionThe supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems. This position is with the Agency Services area of DTMB.
This application developer position serves as an ETL, Reporting and Visualization Developer within Agency Services supporting DHHS. The position will support and enhance the agencies ETL reporting and visualization needs through the maintenance and modification of Power BI, Tableau and Business Objects (BOBJ) solutions, as well as batch operations. This position is responsible for the development, implementation and testing processes of new and enhanced reporting tool functionality and will adhere to standards set forth by the industry, the Department of Technology Management and Budget
(DTMB) and the Customer.
DTMB does not participate in STEM-OPT. ITPA P11 -- Position DescriptionPosition Location/Remote Office: The office location is Lansing, MI. The State of Michigan is not able to offer employment to out-of-state applicants that do not plan to relocate. The Department of Technology Management and Budget currently offers a hybrid work option which requires two days working on-site at the official work location and three days of remote work per week.
SIGNING BONUS:This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $2,500. Up to $1,250 to be paid upon new hire and the remainder to be paid after satisfactory completion of the initial probationary period (12-month period). This does not apply to current state employees.

Vacation and Sick Leave: Eligible full-time employees receive between

Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees can take
12 weeks of paid leave immediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.
