In this role, you will champion service virtualization and API engineering strategies, establishing scalable testing frameworks that decouple downstream dependencies and accelerate enterprise software delivery.

responsibilities:
- Architect and implement service virtualization solutions using SmartBear ReadyAPI and WireMock to simulate complex downstream microservices and legacy integrations.
- Provide technical leadership across the full lifecycle of Java-based RESTful API development and JAX-WS web service integrations.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery efforts across development, QA, DevOps, and cloud architecture teams to proactively remove technical bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with performance engineering teams to identify system constraints, optimize database interactions, and improve application resilience.
qualifications:
8-10 years of experience in technical delivery leadership, software quality engineering, or integration architecture.
Proven expertise designing and managing service virtualization frameworks using SmartBear ReadyAPI and WireMock.
Strong background in Java engineering, including REST API development, database operations, and JAX-WS web services (6+ years).
Bachelor's degree (Graduate level) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience conducting performance engineering, load testing, and root-cause bottleneck analysis.
Experience integrating virtualized service endpoints into automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Demonstrated ability to manage client stakeholders and deliver structured milestone reporting.
