Messaging Activation Marketing Manager

Role Summary
The Messaging Activation Marketing Manager is a senior-level position responsible for transforming messaging strategies into impactful customer experiences across digital and physical platforms. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and oversee content and storytelling that effectively communicate complex technology and business concepts. The position demands a hands-on approach to content creation, project management, and strategic execution to ensure brand consistency and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute messaging and content strategies that translate complex technology narratives into engaging customer experiences across digital and physical channels.
• Create and optimize high-impact web content, including homepage, portfolio, and solution pages, to enhance user engagement.
• Design and craft interactive storytelling experiences at flagship sites like the Customer Experience Center, aligning content with overall messaging goals.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, and other teams to understand business priorities and customer needs for tailored messaging.
• Translate technical and business concepts into clear, audience-relevant stories that highlight value propositions and inspire customer action.
• Lead projects from messaging development through content creation, review, and final deployment, ensuring narrative consistency and quality.
• Oversee content production by providing direction, feedback, and editorial guidance to creative agencies and external vendors.
• Utilize AI tools to streamline research, editing, and workflow processes while maintaining high standards for accuracy and clarity.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities, stakeholder expectations, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure messaging consistency across all channels, adapting content as needed to serve diverse customer experiences and audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in messaging, content strategy, content marketing, or editorial roles, preferably in technology or enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to develop compelling messaging and translate complex ideas into clear, audience-specific storytelling.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with experience crafting digital content for customer journeys.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Digital teams, and external vendors or creative agencies.
• Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple high-impact projects.
• Familiarity with AI tools used for content research, editing, and workflow optimization.
• Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across teams.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote environment, managing deadlines and deliverables effectively.
• Knowledge of B2B technology sectors such as networking, security, cloud, AI, or enterprise solutions is preferred.

Publishing Pay Range: $52.00 - $57.00 Hourly 

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from any approved location within the United States.
