Job Title: Sr. AI Software Engineer
Job Location: 100% REMOTE (*Must currently reside in the US)
Pay Range: $170k-$270k Base Salary + Equity + Comprehensive Medical/Dental/Vision Benefits (100% paid for by the employer for employees and dependents)
Must Have:
- 5-10 years of backend software engineering experience using C#/.Net
- 1+ year of experience working on AI-related features (LLM)
- Experience using Restful APIs for infrastructure
- Previous experience working for a startup company
Preferred:
- DevOps experience
- MCP experience
- Snowflake, Databricks, or dbt

Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly technical Backend Engineer to join a fast-growing, remote-first technology company building modern AI-driven infrastructure products for enterprise users. This is a high-impact opportunity to work directly with senior leadership and a small, elite engineering team focused on developing scalable AI capabilities inside a sophisticated data platform environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend services using C#/.NET
- Develop AI-related platform functionality and infrastructure
- Build REST APIs and distributed/microservice-based systems
- Collaborate closely with product, architecture, and engineering leadership
- Support high-performance, enterprise-grade platform capabilities
- Contribute to technical design and system architecture discussions
The ideal candidate will be mid-level backend .Net Software Engineer with recent experience within a small, fast-paced, API-focused AI infrastructure startup company with lean, highly collaborative engineering teams, where they have operated with significant ownership, autonomy, and a strong "go-getter" mentality.
