Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair European vehicles, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and other European makes.
- Perform advanced electrical and drivability diagnostics using professional scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Complete complex mechanical repairs along with general automotive repair and maintenance.
- Perform vehicle programming, ADAS calibration, and module and component cloning.
- Use Topdon and factory-level diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle concerns.
- Use Mitchell 1 and other professional shop tools to support accurate diagnosis and repair.
- Service Asian and Domestic vehicles as needed for established customers.
- Complete repairs with strong attention to detail while supporting an efficient shop workflow.
Qualifications
- Approximately 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
- A-Level or strong B-Level technical ability with strong automotive fundamentals.
- Experience with automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, and drivability concerns.
- Strong mechanical repair skills and the ability to handle advanced repair work.
- European automotive experience, advanced diagnostic experience, and factory scan tool experience are preferred.
- Virginia State Inspection License is required.
- Must have a great attitude and a strong eye for detail!

This is a busy eight-bay, seven-lift shop with a heated and air-conditioned work environment, an alignment rack, factory-level diagnostic equipment, and 75+ vehicles moving through the shop each week. Approximately 90% of the work is European, creating regular exposure to BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and other European vehicles.
Both owners remain hands-on in the shop and are available to help troubleshoot difficult repairs and diagnostics. Technicians can build experience with advanced electrical and drivability diagnostics, programming, ADAS calibration, module and component cloning, and other specialty work that the shop performs in-house.
