A DAY IN THE LIFE- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commissioning activities for data center projects
- Develop and manage commissioning plans, schedules, and documentation from design through turnover
- Coordinate with Project Manager, Superintendent, and subcontractors to align commissioning scope and expectations
- Lead commissioning meetings with the team
- Oversee functional performance testing of critical systems including electrical, mechanical, controls, and life safety
- Review design documents and submittals for operational readiness
- Track and resolve commissioning issues, deficiencies, and punch list items
- Ensure integrated systems testing is executed safely and successfully
- Support training of owner's operations staff and development of O&M documentation
- Verify systems meet uptime, redundancy, and performance requirements
- Manage a smooth transition from construction to operations
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of experience in building commissioning or mission-critical construction
- Hands-on experience commissioning data centers
- Strong working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience with integrated systems testing and turnover processes
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in high-pressure environments
- Willingness to travel or be site-based as required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a focus in Mechanical, Electrical, or similar Construction Management, or related field
