Job Title : Engineering Tech B Job Code: 44463 Job Location: Rochester, New York Job Schedule: 3/12s Friday/Saturday/ Sunday 6PM to 6:30AM Job Description:This person will contribute to the company's success by supporting all aspects of the SMT equipment on fist shift at the Jefferson Road Operations Center. This role will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and repairing this equipment while balancing equipment support with improvement initiatives. It will be essential for this role to work well with cross functional teams to understand and prioritize shop floor issues and communicate with other shifts to relay issues faced and resolved.
Qualifications:- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:- Experience operating or troubleshooting SMT equipment.
- Self-Starter and able to work successfully with minimal supervision; Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet production needs
- Experience with e3 (Lean/6 Sigma), 5S, and Kaizen tools and processes
- Working knowledge of IPC documentation, including IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and IPC 7711/7721.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is [$45,000 - $84,000]. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
