Job Description:
This position requires a PL/I, IMDB & DB2 Developer with specific knowledge of Health Insurance, along with experience in Mainframe technologies. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting health applications using these technologies.

Responsibilities

Utilize Mainframe technologies such as PL/I, IMSDB, DB2, JCL, etc.
Develop a strong understanding of Health Insurance (excluding Group Health Insurance).
Design, develop, and support health applications using Mainframe technologies.
Provide both development and production support.
Work with SAS, REXX, JCL, and Sort.
Debug using IDB IDZ.
Deploy code using GIT.
Operate within an Agile environment.
Coordinate activities between Product Owners and Business Units to resolve open action items.

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in PL/I, IMSDB, DB2, JCL, and SORT with at least 10 years of experience.
Extensive experience in Health Insurance Applications development and support.
Proficiency in COBOL, SAS, REXX, VSAM, and other Mainframe Technologies.
Knowledge of Webservices, REST API, JSON, and Message Queues (MQ).
Experience with scheduling tools like Control-M.
Familiarity with git, CICD, and Pipeline processes.
AWS cloud awareness and AI capabilities are a plus.
