Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business processes, functional requirements, and system enhancements.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops, stakeholder interviews, and gap analysis sessions.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
Analyze and configure business processes across:
Guidewire PolicyCenter: Policy lifecycle management, underwriting, rating, product configuration, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and policy issuance.
Guidewire BillingCenter: Billing plans, payment processing, invoicing, collections, refunds, and commission management.
Guidewire ClaimCenter: FNOL, claim lifecycle management, reserves, payments, recoveries, subrogation, and settlement processes.
- Work closely with Guidewire developers, architects, QA teams, and product owners during design and implementation.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
- Support integration requirements involving Guidewire, third-party systems, APIs, data warehouses, and external vendors.
- Develop and maintain business process workflows, UML diagrams, data mapping documents, and BRDs/FRDs.
- Participate in SIT, UAT, and production validation activities.
- Analyze defects, prioritize issues, and coordinate resolution with development teams.
- Support Guidewire upgrades, migrations, and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and insurance business requirements.
