As a Network Engineer on our team, you'll work alongside government and contractor engineers to deploy, integrate, and sustain enterprise network solutions supporting critical national security missions. You'll configure, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure while helping deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing communications for our clients.
You'll leverage your experience with enterprise routing, switching, network security, and systems integration to solve technical challenges, support modernization efforts, and contribute to the successful delivery of mission-critical capabilities.

You Have: - 3+ years of experience implementing, integrating, and troubleshooting enterprise or tactical network infrastructure
- 3+ years of experience providing engineering support for DoW Enterprise or Tactical Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) networks
- Experience implementing and supporting Layer 2 through Layer 4 networking technologies, including switching, VLANs, trunking, EtherChannel, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), routing, Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF), Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP), Access Control Lists (ACLs), Network Address Translation (NAT), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name System (DNS), Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS), Label Distribution Protocol (LDP), Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS), Layer 3 VPNs (L3VPN), and enterprise networking technologies
- Experience integrating and troubleshooting network security technologies, including firewalls, proxies, identity-based access control solutions, Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA), IEEE 802.1X, and network access control technologies
- Experience developing technical artifacts, including network diagrams, implementation guides, configuration templates, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation
- Experience performing network integration, testing, troubleshooting, validation, and deployment activities within a cross-functional engineering environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, work independently or collaboratively, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- CompTIA Security+ certification and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
Nice If You Have: - Experience supporting Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES), Automated Digital Network System (ADNS), or other DoW enterprise networking environments
- Experience planning, implementing, or supporting Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) migrations and enterprise network modernization initiatives
- Experience developing network automation or deployment pipelines using Ansible, Python, or similar automation frameworks
- Experience configuring and supporting multi-vendor enterprise network environments, including Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, or similar networking platforms
- Experience supporting enterprise network monitoring and management platforms such as SolarWinds
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or another Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
- Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
