Our client is a well-established civil construction contractor specializing in heavy civil, underground utilities, and infrastructure projects throughout Southern California. They are seeking a motivated Project Manager to oversee projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Manage civil construction projects from planning and preconstruction through final completion.
Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, cost forecasts, and progress reports.
Coordinate daily with superintendents, project engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and owners.
Oversee change orders, subcontract agreements, RFIs, submittals, and contract administration.
Monitor project costs, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
Lead project meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Ensure projects meet quality standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations.
Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to support project planning and execution.
Qualifications
5+ years of project management experience in civil construction, heavy civil, underground utilities, or infrastructure.
Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and field operations.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost controls, change orders, and project documentation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining schedule and profitability.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with municipal infrastructure, water, sewer, storm drain, grading, or underground utility projects is highly desirable.
