Summary:This position maintains gas meters, regulators and relief valves, RTU & SCADA equipment and related communication equipment, valves and valve operators, gas filters, and auxiliary equipment such as electrical generators in a manner to meet operational needs in compliance with partnership and regulatory requirements.
Essential duties and responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed below:
- Maintain and operate facilities in compliance with applicable specifications, codes, safety standards and operating procedures.
- Perform periodic accuracy tests including the calibration, inspection and maintenance of all equipment related to quality and quantity determination
- Install instrumentation and equipment in new and renovated measurement and/or regulation facilities.
- Inspect and maintain all pressure and volumetric control equipment.
- Collect gas samples in compliance with partnership safety and industry guidelines.
- Participate in partnership safety program and initiatives.
Required Education:- High school diploma or GED.
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:- Level C requires a minimum of 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience.
- Level B requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience.
- Level A requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience.
Required Qualifications:- Detailed knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT, RRC , OSHA, NEC, AGA , API and GPA requirements and procedures.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills to interface with customer base.
Preferred Qualifications:- PC skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel.
- Some college or technical trade school is preferred.

- Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Driving, walking, standing frequently.
- Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting
Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment. - Occasional overnight travel may be required.
