Fleet Automotive Technician
AAA Northern New England is seeking a skilled and reliable Fleet Automotive Technician to join our team in Scarborough, ME. If you?re passionate about hands-on mechanical work and want to support a mission-driven organization that keeps people moving, this could be the perfect role for you.
What You?ll Do:
As a Fleet Automotive Technician, you?ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of diesel and gasoline-powered medium-duty vehicles. Your work will ensure our drivers and members stay safe on the road.
Responsibilities Include:
Perform preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs on fleet vehicles
Complete oil changes, brake repairs, and tune-ups
Diagnose and repair: Electrical systems (including ABS), Cooling systems, A/C systems, Hydraulic systems
Conduct clutch replacements and general mechanical repairs
Assist with vehicle pickups and deliveries to outside vendors
Manage and maintain parts inventory, including monthly counts
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
Respond to Emergency Road Service (ERS) calls as needed
What You Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent
Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems (required)
Experience servicing diesel and gas-powered vehicles
ASE certification (preferred)
Towing experience, welding, or auto body experience (a plus)
Your own tools for performing mechanical repairs
Safe Business Driving Requirements
The starting pay range for this position is:
$22.49 - $29.97
Additionally, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
