Pay Range: $20.50hr - $25.50hr
Job Overview:
This position is responsible for producing high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. The candidate will work under close supervision to perform routine assignments, assembly, and testing procedures in accordance with standardized quality guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on medical device assemblies under close supervision.
- Perform routine assignments according to specified or standardized procedures with continuous review.
- Ensure relevant job documentation for cell operations and functions is accurate and up to date.
- Communicate ideas, problems, and solutions clearly to all levels of manufacturing management, both written and orally.
- Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal and external customers.
- Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate safety devices when performing all operations.
- Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes and achieve metrics.
- Maintain accurate records to ensure traveler and quality documents are correct, parts are traceable, and quality issues are addressed.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Participate with management in setting and monitoring individual goals and cell performance metrics.
- Support all organizational initiatives in alignment with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory requirements.
- Prioritize work by determining the sequencing and timing of different jobs based on precedence and importance.
- Handle and maneuver small components and parts.
- Make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
- Understanding of and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages.
- Due to nature of job The candidate must have Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts.
