As a Permanent Plumbing Engineer, you will be joining a dynamic and passionate team in the construction industry. This role is tailored for professionals who are enthusiastic about designing and implementing innovative plumbing systems. Our ideal candidate is a problem-solver who enjoys overcoming technical challenges and is driven by the desire to create efficient, sustainable, and safe plumbing solutions. With over 5 years of experience, you will be expected to leverage your expertise in Revit, Domestic Cold Water, Sanitary Waste & Vent, Roof Drainage, Compressed Air, and Vacuum Systems to contribute to our high-profile construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and oversee the installation of plumbing systems for a wide range of construction projects. This includes Domestic Cold Water, Sanitary Waste & Vent, Roof Drainage, Compressed Air, and Vacuum Systems.
- Use your proficiency in Revit to create detailed technical drawings and plans.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to ensure plumbing designs are integrated seamlessly into overall project plans.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure the plumbing systems are installed correctly and meet all safety and efficiency standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation of plumbing systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in plumbing engineering to continually improve our processes and designs.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
- Ensure all plumbing designs and installations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Plumbing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing design and implementation in the construction industry.
- Proven expertise in Revit, Domestic Cold Water, Sanitary Waste & Vent, Roof Drainage, Compressed Air, and Vacuum Systems.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a knack for finding creative solutions to technical challenges.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex designs and concepts to non-technical team members and stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
