Responsibilities Develop and iterate internal strategies, working with algorithm and product teams to improve recommendation performance and support growth in the E-Commerce ecosystem. Use causal inference, Machine Learning and other technologies to actively explore opportunities in traffic, products, operations, and strategies. Complete in-depth special project analysis and provide strategic suggestions through qualitative and quantitative analysis, model construction, and experimental verification. Partner with stakeholders across product, engineering, and business teams to identity trends, align data science solutions with strategic goals, and to deliver scalable, data-driven improvements. Conduct A/B test result collection and provide analysis reports as well as strategy improvement recommendations. Mentor and support junior and mid-level data scientists.
Qualifications
Qualifications Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering (any), Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering (any), Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: Leveraging advanced data gathering, processing, and analysis techniques to develop and deliver data-driven recommendations that support and influence key business decisions; Conducting forecasting and experiment analysis, and communicating quantitative insights through clear visualizations using Tableau or Excel; Researching and developing analyses, forecasting, and optimization methods to improve product quality using SQL, time series, and causal inference experiments; Cleaning, processing, and analyzing large-scale datasets using relational databases or Hadoop systems; and Building and validating machine learning models including clustering, classification, and other predictive models to solve business problems. Job Information
[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $208050 - $335920 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
