Approximately 75% domestic vehicle mix with very little European work

Wrigley?s Garage is seeking an A-Level Automotive Technician to join its established operation in Shabbona, IL. The shops have served their community since 1948.
This is a small-shop environment built around accountability, collaboration, excellence, integrity, and professionalism. You?ll work with a team that values accurate diagnostics, quality repairs, strong communication, and technicians who take pride in their craft.
Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Diagnose drivability, electrical, and performance concerns.
Identify root causes and recommend appropriate repairs.
Perform heavy-line automotive repair work.
Use Autel and Snap-on scan tools along with service information systems.
Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Collaborate with service advisors and fellow technicians to keep work moving.
Stay current with evolving automotive technology through continued training.
Qualifications
6+ years of professional automotive technician experience.
A-Level automotive repair and diagnostic capability.
Strong advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Proven ability to perform heavy-line repair work.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Strong communication skills.
Positive, professional approach and a passion for the automotive industry.
