Data Center Logistics Associate. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence and workplace safety.
As a Data Center Logistics Associate, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels to support equipment deployment, maintenance, and repair activities. This includes receiving shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, issuing parts to technicians and engineers, and coordinating the movement of materials between locations. The role also involves loading and unloading shipments and ensuring inventory is properly stored and accounted for.
Successful candidates will maintain precise inventory documentation, uphold safety standards, and help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Experience in warehouse operations, distribution, inventory management, or reverse logistics is highly preferred. Experience working with vendors and suppliers is also beneficial.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
- Issue parts and materials to technical teams as required
- Coordinate the movement of inventory between facilities or work areas
- Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently
- Support inventory audits and cycle counts
- Maintain organized, clean, and safe storage areas
- Follow established safety procedures and operational processes
- Assist with logistics and warehouse-related projects as needed
Physical & Environmental Requirements- Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods throughout the workday
- Frequently lift and move materials and products
- Occasionally assist with loading and unloading shipments
- Work in office, warehouse, and data center environments
- Exposure to varying noise levels, including occasional loud environments
- Exposure to fluctuating temperatures, including occasional hot or cold conditions
- Work around moving mechanical equipment and machinery
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, distribution, or inventory management environment
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work overtime when business needs require
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to lift and carry up to 49 pounds independently
- Ability to participate in team lifts involving heavier items
- Ability to push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the day
- Ability to safely climb and descend stairs where applicable
- Comfortable working in a warehouse or industrial environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications- Experience using inventory management or warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse best practices
- Demonstrated leadership ability and positive work attitude
- Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience supporting logistics operations in a technical or data center environment
- Knowledge of reverse logistics processes

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
